These bungalows are generally sound and generally lovely from the street. The problem is behind them: a kitchen at the back, a poor connection to the garden, and a rear elevation that was never designed to be the good side of the house even though that is now where everyone lives.

Reworking that properly is structure, not glazing. Doing it on a compact lot, on a street this walkable and this close together, is a sequencing problem we plan for rather than apologise for later.
