Building new in a Victorian district, without producing the house that ruins the street.
Custom Homes & New Builds in St. Elmo
New construction in St. Elmo is uncommon and consequential. You are dropping a new building into a run of Victorian cottages with deep porches and a consistent rhythm, in a neighborhood that notices. Get the massing wrong and it is permanent.
Working in and around protected fabric is what we do most weeks here, so we come at a new build in St. Elmo from the restoration side: what the street is, what it will carry, and how a new house earns its place in it.
We work St. Elmo Avenue, Virginia Avenue and across the rest of 37409. More on St. Elmo and the neighborhoods we build in.

Our work in St. Elmo
A heritage-listed Victorian-era cottage in one of Chattanooga's most beloved historic neighbourhoods. Original Victorian mantel restored with carved decorative relief, fluted pilasters, and period corbels. A new two-tone furniture-grade kitchen in crisp white and deep charcoal with brushed brass hardware and Carrara marble.
We take on a select number of projects each year in St. Elmo and across Hamilton County. Tell us about your home and your timeline.
