    The craft

Our cabinets are made one at a time, drawn around how you actually use the space. We build each piece by hand, with the same materials and joinery you would expect from fine furniture, so it looks right and holds up for decades.

From a single furniture-grade kitchen to whole-home joinery, we keep the work under our own roof so the detail stays consistent from the first drawing to the final install. It is built to be lived in and loved for generations.

    Questions, answered

    The things people ask first

How much does a kitchen remodel cost in Chattanooga?

Most full remodels sit between $40,000 and well over $150,000 depending on scope. We give every client a detailed written estimate after the first consultation.

Do you use subcontractors, or is the work done in-house?

Our cabinetry and finish carpentry are built and installed by our own team. For specialist trades like plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and stone, we work with a small group of trusted Chattanooga tradespeople we have known for years.

What kind of warranty do you offer?

Every James & Co. project carries a 15-year workmanship warranty, on top of the standard manufacturer warranties on materials and appliances.
