    The craft

Our cabinets are made one at a time, drawn around how you actually use the space. We build each piece by hand, with the same materials and joinery you would expect from fine furniture, so it looks right and holds up for decades.

From a single furniture-grade kitchen to whole-home joinery, we keep the work under our own roof so the detail stays consistent from the first drawing to the final install. It is built to be lived in and loved for generations.

What that looks like in practice: a white oak island with fluted panelling standing on Calacatta marble, with the veining matched across the join rather than left to fall where the slab happened to cut. A two-tone kitchen in white above and deep charcoal below, carried up the wall by a custom range hood, with brushed brass throughout. A butler's pantry in soft blue running off the main room in the same hand, so the two read as one piece of work.

Cabinetry is not only kitchens. We build floor-to-ceiling libraries in white oak that wrap an arched window and carry a bench seat under it, bunk beds with the ladder and desk built into the joinery instead of bolted on afterwards, and runs of arched birch shelving cut to the wall they stand against. Specialist trades like plumbing, electrical and stone come from a small circle of Chattanooga tradespeople we have worked with for years, but the cabinetry and finish carpentry never leave our own team.
